THE WHIPPLE Wah Inductor!
Simply the Best
This is a fantastic sounding Wah inductor, hand made by me. Each Inductor is literally hand wound in an intenstive slow process. Each inductor is created one by one, wax potted and assembled then sealed for all time.
I would be hard pressed to come up with an explanation as good as the ones I have gotten from my customers over the years, of the sound and improvement The Whipple has provided to them.

It already sounds better than the Teese.....
Awesome Sounds...
"I have also tried a fulltone mu-shielded inductor in the same wah, but Whipple has clearly sweeter tone."
I just installed and test drove this beast. It is everything you promised and more. It has much more of a feq.range than my modded red fasel. It also has much more of a human-like vocal quality. It actually sounds like my guitar is talking. And with the overdrive on, it sounds like a screaming banshee. Your a hell-of-a-guy.
Hey Mon! I got one of your Whipples the other day (fast shipping too! Thanx!) and installed it in a CryBaby I had layin around. Just had a chance to do a gig with it. WOW!! The Whipple made my CryBaby come to life! The Whipple gave me the deepest, fattest, clearest, most vocal-sounding wah I've ever heard! Now THIS is what a wah is supposed to sound like! Dude, The Whipple ROCKS! YOU ROCK!! You can add this letter to your eBay page if you want, I'm a fan!! (YOU HAVE BEEN ADDED)
BIG Thanx!!

I am very impressed with the whipple it has a fat warm sound to it. My Fulltone Clyde wah has a new and improved sound to it with a broader sweep it actually sounds better now that I have the whipple installed in it!
"its got nice saturation, and reminds me of a really good thomas era
inductors. Nice quack and great sweep, the high end is very good."
Hi Michael! Got the inductor today!
Very fast shipping. Sounds very good, like butter to play with.
Thanks! //Ulf in Sweden
Hi Michael,
I've had a chance to try the inductor for a few days and I was very pleased.
I had a slight concern with the pin spacing not quite fitting the vintage style board but that
was minor and I was able to get it to fit. I checked the spacing with a modern board and it was
not an issue I am very favorably impressed! I did a side by
side comparison with a '67 Jen Wah Baby and a Thomas Organ Crybaby with a Brown stack of dimes
inductor. I put your inductor in a Thomas Organ Crybaby. Both Thomases had identical
discrete components (tropical fish caps,Blacktop pots, BC109 transistors)
Your inductor was a tad smoother and clearer in the bass range than the stack of dimes (a good
thing) and was very close in sound to the vintage Red Fasel inductor in my Wah Baby. It had
a very smooth vocal quality that I really liked. I will be getting more!

Just finished doing an early Crybaby for a buddy of mine and I tryed a "Halo" inductor from a guy named Mike out of NYC..His inductors look like the Banzai inductors I've used.Mike winds the inductors himself and I was delighted to find that the inductors were every bit as good or better than the Fulltone, "_____", and the Banzai inductors I normally use and at about a $10 less price...He was great to deal with, always promptly e mailed me back.got the product fast, and as I said, the inductor works great and looks like a relic'd "halo" out of a 67 Vox wah!
Thanks again to Mike for the prompt e mails, great product, and just being an overall great guy to deal with!
There is no comparison between the red and yellow dunlop inductors compared to these,as I've tryed them all(Trust me on this)
I'll be buying all of my wah inductors from Mike now!

Oh dude, that wah just kicked SO much ass tonight! I was just creaming
myself with it in front of my Bassman. Suweet! I couldn't believe how
much better it sounded than my Clyde, and the old Crybaby that it used
to be isn't even in the discussion. I was just flat out floored at how
damn good it felt and sounded.
Thanks again for that outstanding inductor!
Hi, well I got it to work. It sounded great even
before I did some other
mods. Even my wife commented on it, which is amazing
in itself.
Hey Michael,
Well, I said I was going to evaluate the Whipple by comparing it with my other two, but it didn't quite happen. I had yours hooked up from the beginning, of course, cause I was anxious to try it. The first tune that required wah wasn't until the second set. And that's where my experimenting ended. It never left my signal chain for the rest of the weekend. I LOVED IT!! I realize that it's all subjective, and people have certain tastes or sounds they're striving to achieve, but, for me, I no longer feel the impulse to look any further for a great wah tone.
The only thing I did do, was to patch the others in before Saturday night's show, just to compare the noise floor and yours was quieter than the Area 51 by a little and the Teese by alot (you already knew that). The stock Vox inductor was still the quietest, but, even with the 4 resistor mod/swap and the mullard caps, it's such an uninspiring tone.
I still haven't tried the old 5117's with your inductor, and almost feel like I don't even want to change a thing. I couldn't be happier to have chosen your product.
Thanks for offering your efforts up for sale to the rest of us. I always said that you can't covet what you don't know. I'll definitely make sure more people know about The Whipple.

yesterday, I got the WHIPPLE (lightning fast mailing! thanks) and
I couldn't help installing it today. It sounds fantastic - all the
enthusiastic feedback you get for the WHIPPLE is but words can
express ! ;-) Expressive, smooth, cool, buttery transition from
low to high - amazing!
(This was a fun project, a customer sent me a non-functioning wah, and I
send him back a great sounding wah, Please feel free to send me you troubles I love fixing stuff)
Thanks so much, it came today! Ahhhhh it's so nice to have a working wah!
I immediately jumped on the rig and cut it loose - here's a clip!

Can you tell I was having a blast? Thanks again, you revived a scrapheap wah into the ultimate Frankenwhipple! -James
Michael,
Finally I found some time to check „the Whipple“ and its great!
I built it into a no-name cheapo wah and turned it into a pro-tool. Very good!

hi...i just ordered a whipple inductor from you last week. It arrived yesterday and I put it in today. AMAZING!!! I also did the extra mods with the resistors you enclosed and it changed my sound completely!! I have been playing for twenty years, and have been a Hendrix fanatic for even longer, so I have tried my share of wah pedals and mods. Your Whipple is by far the best wah mod I have ever heard. Even my bands mates noticed that something sounded a lot better with my sound. I can't thank you enough for making it possible for me to actually get the tone that I have been hearing in my head for years! You're a genius!!! Sincerely, Joe Piotrowski London, Ontario, Canada
Your scatter wound choke is the coolest thing going! My 40 yr old Sola has been on the shelf for 30 yrs or so with a broken coil wire. I was gonna try to rewind it. I'm glad I didn't. Dis is berry cool coil! Whacks perfectly and the sweet spots are just what the Dr ordered. They'll still be talking about these 20 yrs from now. Nice work and God bless ya. You've made my year. db
Hey Michael,
I got the Whipple earlier this week. The sound is much thicker than the stock inductor in my Vox Reissue.
Thanks very much for shipping so quickly and delivering a great product.
Thanks so much, and keep doing what you're doing - everyone deserves to have good tone!
